THE NEW TESTAMENT 93-DAY CHRONOLOGICAL READING PLAN – Day 29 Assignment

Moments with God

New Testament Bible Reading Plan

Day 29

“How can a young person stay pure?

By obeying your word.

I have tried hard to find you—

don’t let me wander from your commands.” Psalm 119:9-10

Dear Lord,

I entreat You to keep me tethered to You. I do not wish to wander from You or Your commands. I have spent the majority of my life searching for You everywhere, most of the time not even realizing that it was You I was looking for and now that I know, I realize that You were with me the whole time…keep me close. You Lord are always faithful and I praise You and thank You for loving me, always. To You I give the honor and the glory for all I am and for all I will ever be. In Jesus Name, Amen

Reading assignment for today – John 11

“Caiaphas, who was high priest at that time, said, “You don’t know what you’re talking about! You don’t realize that it’s better for you that one man should die for the people than for the whole nation to be destroyed.”

He did not say this on his own; as high priest at that time he was led to prophesy that Jesus would die for the entire nation. And not only for that nation, but to bring together and unite all the children of God scattered around the world.” John 11:49-52

Oaks Of Righteousness

Isaiah 61:1-3 "The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has annointed me; He has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the Lords's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; and to comfort all who mourn; to provide for those who mourn in Zion -- to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit. They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord, to display His glory.
