Moments with God

New Testament Bible Reading Plan

Day 21

God’s Word is truth…“Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth.” John 17:17. We read the Bible because we want to know the truth, we don’t want to waste our time on lesser, unreliable things.

Let’s dig into His truth by reading Matthew 17, Mark 9 and Luke 9:28-62

“As the men watched, Jesus’ appearance was transformed so that his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as light.” Matthew 17:2

Oaks Of Righteousness

Isaiah 61:1-3 "The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has annointed me; He has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the Lords's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; and to comfort all who mourn; to provide for those who mourn in Zion -- to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit. They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord, to display His glory.
