THE NEW TESTAMENT 93-DAY CHRONOLOGICAL READING PLAN – Day 19 Assignment

Moments with God

New Testament Bible Reading Plan

Day 19

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Bible Reading Plan Day 19

Aren’t you glad that God loved us so much that He made sure His word endured through thousands of years, so that we know what is true? I have an idea…let’s open our Bibles and see what He has in store for us today…is He going to be convicting us or preparing us???

Today’s Reading Assignment – Matthew 15 & Mark 7

I just have to share that I feel “conviction” from these words in both of our readings today…

Then Jesus called to the crowd to come and hear. “Listen,” he said, “and try to understand. It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth.” Matthew 15:10-11

Oaks Of Righteousness

Isaiah 61:1-3 "The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has annointed me; He has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the Lords's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; and to comfort all who mourn; to provide for those who mourn in Zion -- to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit. They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord, to display His glory.
