Moments with God

New Testament Bible Reading Plan

Day 5

I wanted to begin today’s assignment by sharing a prayer that we read in Day 1 of Praying the Names of Jesus as Physician. As you read today keep this prayer in mind and all that it means about our Lord and Savior.

“I praise you because no disease is beyond your healing power and no sin beyond your saving grace. Today I pray that you would heal me and make me whole and help me to live in a way that expresses my faith in you. Use me, Lord, to advance your healing work so that many others will learn of your compassion and your power.” In Jesus Name, Amen.

Then he said, “I tell you the truth, you will all see heaven open and the angels of God going up and down on the Son of Man, the one who is the stairway between heaven and earth.” John 1:51

Oaks Of Righteousness

Isaiah 61:1-3 "The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has annointed me; He has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the Lords's favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; and to comfort all who mourn; to provide for those who mourn in Zion -- to give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit. They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord, to display His glory.
