Chapter 2 Unglued Assignment – Word Circle

The title of my word circle from Chapter 2 is called “Transformed Perspective.”

What do all of the pictures within my circle mean????

Our Memory verse is in the circle…

Ephesians 4:22, 23, “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self … to be made new in the attitude of your minds.” (NIV 1984)

I believe that prayer can break the stronghold on any wrong perspective I might have in an unglued moment.  I need to ask Him to change any wrong thinking I might have and to let me see the situation the way that He wants me to, not with my eyes, but with His!

I know that attitude is key…I can complain about the thorns on roses or I can praise God for the beauty I find in the rose, despite the thorns!

The red heart represents the love that Jesus has for me and the love that I have for Him. Jesus is the glue and I have to keep my heart centered on Him!

I acknowledge that I am an imperfect work in progress…but I am making progress with His help and guidance.

Changing the way I look at things…will change how those things look!

Mindset is one of the synonyms for our word of the week…”perspective” and this word picture definition for mindset spoke to my heart.

I want Him to flood my life with His presence and His power…I need to seek Him at all times and remember to say…”Yes, Lord, whatever it costs, I will follow you!”

So, have you worked on your word circle from Chapter 2?   I would love to see what you have put together or I could help you with it if you have any questions or are just not sure how to begin.  If you are not sure what I am talking about check out the assignment link for September 24th.  You can share your word circles as .jpg on the Many Strands page…here is the link.

I also put together a tutorial on how to make these “word circles” in both publisher and word…I have the 2010 version of both and my tutorial goes with the version I own.  If you have any questions about the directions, please ask me.  I would be happy to help.

Hope that you are having a great week and that those unglued moments are few and far between!!!

Blessings,

Patti

They will be called Oaks of Righteousness, the planting of the Lord, to display His glory.
